- American Indian College Fund Scholarship - Applications typically due in May.
- California Garden Club Scholarships - Applicants must be planning careers in conservation, forestry, or urban planning (among others), or research in allied fields. Applications typically due in January.
- Cobell Scholarship - For enrolled members of a US Federally-recognized Tribe. Applications typically due in March.

- Joseph Sidney Woolford Fund - Applications typically due in March. Apply through the Humboldt Area Foundation Universal Application.

Fellowships
- Cobell Graduate Summer Research Fellowship - Awards support American Indian and Alaska Native graduate students with a summer research stipend. Applications typically due in January.
- Graduate Research Fellowship Program - For graduate students pursuing full-time research-based master's degrees in STEM or social science. Applications typically due in October.
